A huge number of great things happening in the area of international cricket this year. I really, seriously cannot wait. It’s going to be huge!
Last year, we were treated to a a great series of test matches with the Australian Men’s team taking on team India – what a pleasure it was to see the 160+ run debut of Yashasvi Jaiswal as he smashed the Australian bowlers around Optus Stadium (even though I am an Australian team supporter). This year we will have the privilege of witnessing a once-in-a-generation great of the game, Joe Root, as he looks to secure his first-ever Test century in Australia. It would be great to witness that achievement here in Perth – but it will also be a lot of fun trying to stop him from doing it 🤣. Let’s see – as I said, can’t wait.
